(SOLD) Spectacular set of six William IVth to Early Victorian chairs C1840 comprising a PAIR of carver chairs and four side chairs. The extravagant use of fine mahogany is emphasised bt the large spade back with the deep channel molding running through it. Now reglued for your safety, the polish conserved and enriched, so the fine patina glows, these chairs are all set to grace any home or Gentleman's club. We have carefully retained the old leather in case someone should like it. We have an excellent upholsterer if you prefer silk or other coverings.
