(SOLD) This superior set of four mahogany bar back sabre leg chairs is very stylish. The chairs were made about 1820, George III period, and are signed witha stamped M.P. on each. We have not yet been able to pin down the maker. The chairs have been somewhat over-restored in the recent past, but they will mellow out again in a couple of years. Fortunately, they appear to have been reglued in the process. Beautifully carved and of high quality, this smart set of chairs will addd elegance and comfort to any drawing room, dining nook or office. New Warwick fabric.
